On 25th January 2016 I was able to take part in The Whisky Wire’s tweet tasting of 4 Beam Suntory¬†malts. We tasted Ardmore Legacy, Connemara, Bowmore Small Batch and Laphroaig Select. Laphroaig Select Nose: Wet dog, brine, slightly acrid, suggestions of much lighter notes initially. As it opens up fresh figs and prosciutto ham push through.
